I learned and grew so much at Training
Camp that if I didn’t do this by lists it would take many lines and you would
get bored of reading it all too quickly (one of the things I learned, haha).
So I’ll divide this into two categories: what I gathered spiritually,
about myself, and ministry-wise, and then what I gathered about the World Race.

First, What I Gathered about the World Race:

  • Parents event at Launch in January!
I can’t wait for my Mom and Dad to be able to experience God on the level
that I have been able to at Training Camp!  There is so much more to Him
than ever imaginable and I hope they find that there!
  • For between now and the Race…prayer,
support system, and accountability.  Being present.  Ending well in
preparation to be 100% absent when your gone.  Loading up on podcast,
books on Kindle, because we will have to take ownership of our spiritual
development during these months.  Not waiting until the last minute to be
    physically ready for Launch,
I already have THAT list, haha.  Staying connected with each
    other,
we have group text messaging going, haha!
  • Wisdom talks on packing….baby wipes
    are a must, haha.
  • Administration…deadlines, documents,
personal finances, insurance, prescriptions, family, and donor relations
  • Blogging basics advice
  • Speaking/teaching advice

Second, What I Gathered Spiritually, About
Myself, and Ministry-Wise:

  • Since when did God and Satan switch
places?  Why do we automatically think that anything supernatural is or
comes from Satan?  We have lost our faith for the supernatural worldview.
When we take God out of the box that we have put Him in and allow Him to
show us the miracles that He is still willing to show us, then He will begin to
open our eyes to things we have never seen before!
There is more to Him than what we are allowing ourselves to see and
    feel!
  • We must grieve (express sorrow for) the
seasons of our lives so we can effectively embrace the present and the future.
In order to grieve your past you must get in touch with your heart and
    your pain.
  • The secret to ministry is to get people to the place to meet
Jesus.  Successful evangelism is not getting them to say a prayer its
about getting them one step closer to Jesus.  If you win the battle for
behavior you don’t win the battle for the heart.
  • How do we increase our capacity for
God?  We need to thicken the walls of our soul through soul care
(developing healthy souls).  Soul care involves healing identity would
that make us like a bucket with a hole in the bottom (ex. abuse, victimization,
etc.).  Two keys to transformation are renewing your mind and being
transformed into His image (2 Cor. 3:18).  If we’re going to experience
more of God we need to faithfully steward the portion of the Spirit entrusted
to us.  Acts 1 & 2 tells us we were baptized with the Spirit for a
    mission. James 4:2-3.
  • Dealing with and breaking free from
lies that we agree with and have grown up with.
  • Prayer Ministry Training, praying for
    others, healing prayer model, etc.
  • The role of the Holy Spirit in the
believer’s life…Expect that God can move, but don’t have an agenda for how He
will do this…One of the ways you KNOW you’re a Christian is that the Holy
Spirit continues to convict you and worry you!…legalism will never produce
    true sanctification!
  • Sometimes our problems/pain needs to be
dealt with rather than medicated away.  Sometimes you just need to sit in
your pain…brokenness is the place where hardship occurs and compassion is
birthed (Matthew 10:17)….In the midst of brokenness are you going to run away
or are you going to stay?  In order to go through transformation you MUST
go through brokenness!  God will not leave you in brokenness….Brokenness
will lead you out of yourself and place your dependence on God…dependence is
the place where your faith grows and God becomes your source of hope (Matthew
    10:19).
  • Personalities
  • Giving feedback the RIGHT way…. R for
respectful, I for intentionally specific, G for growth meaning encouraging the
growth you see, H for heart condition meaning coming from a place of love and
checking with the Lord that your motives are in the right place, and T for
timely meaning to do it THAT DAY so that you’re not sitting on
things….feedback takes maturity and if you feel put down by constructive
feedback then that is a maturity thing you need to deal with on your own and
with the Lord, because it was not meant to hurt your feelings….do feedback
within 24 hours, always say “thank you,” do feedback every day, ask
for feedback from your team and be willing to receive it.
  • Living intentionally on the Race by
setting accountability and a certain day to use your electronic devices…live
dangerously by fighting for a memorable day and going the extra mile.
  • Listening prayer
  • Prophesy

God, whatever it is you want to do, I’m in.  Because
whatever you have for me is better than what I have for myself.  Do
anything you need to do in me so that you might do everything you want to do
through me!  Amen
