I wanted to post a new blog, but with not much to say just yet I’m going to make this a general blog.

So here are 100 things that I absolutely love! **or not, hehe.

1. Cats!  Kitties!  Purr purr purr!  Even when they’re mean they’re so sweet and cute and cuddle-able!  I want an orange fluffy kitty and I will name her Nala……House of Night book series! ;-D

2. Ice.  If you know me you know I love eating ice. I ‘ve been eating it since I was so young that my teeth have built up a resistance to it!  No damage, and happen to think that it has even helped me in that I have never had a single thing wrong with my teeth.  No cavities, nothing, na da.  I will definitely miss not having ice on the Race.  Everyone has a security blanket of sorts, this is mine.

3. Reading.  I can’t get enough of it.  Fiction to be precise.  Ever since my first “big book” (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 3rd or 4th grade) I have been hooked.  Most of my squadmates are probably dreading travel days but I’m excited for them because I’ll get to do lots of reading!!

4. Organization.  I love organization but I’m over the top with it.  For instance, with the World Race next year as long as my stuff is where it should be, where I want it to be, then I don’t have a problem with everybody else’s stuff.  Same deal with borrowing stuff, ASK FIRST, THEN BORROW.  Common courtesy.

5. DOCTOR WHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am a fan-amaniac of the doctor (NEVER call him doctor who!) & will miss him dearly next year.  David Tennant is my doctor; Whovians, you know what I mean.

6. Monkeys.  If you ask me for my favorite animal, this is what I’ll say.  More like domesticated/nice monkeys, not the ones to be expected India.  I’m told those especially are mean, which is sad, but I will still smile at them from afar 😀

7. Hanging out with friends.  Quality time is my love language.  I love getting to know my friends on the deepest levels not because of abusive gossip (which I HATE), but because I feel that’s what true friends are to one another.  A true friend is a person that you can pour your heart out to and you know that they have your best intentions at heart.  I see the epitome of communal friendship in in the book of John, with Jesus time with the disciples.  And 1 Thessalonians 5:11 encourages us to encourage one another and build each other up!  God’s Word even has insight on how friendship should be!  How amazing is that?!

8. Hanging out with family is at the top of my list as well (even though there’s no particular order to all of this).  My family, as crazy as we are, we stick together through thick and thin.  And now that I have a niece and nephew in my life I can’t imagine them not being in it!  It’s hard to go 2 weeks without seeing them let alone 11 months!!  And yes, hallelujah, do I praise the Lord for the technology He has brought into the world, like Skype!!!!

9. Audrey Hepburn is the best actress who has ever lived.  Period.  Hands down.  No argument.

10. Purple is my all-time favorite color.  And no it’s not because it’s a royal color or whatever.  It’s because it’s genuinely a beautiful color, it’s not too boring and it’s not too hyper or flashy, it just is.

11. Romance.  Yes, I am an old-fashioned, hopeless romantic kind of girl.  The guy should ALWAYS be the pursuer ladies, that’s how God intended it.  Check Proverbs 31 if you don’t believe me.  But there’s nothing wrong with a little flirting 😉  Just don’t throw yourselves out there.  You’ll look desperate and it’s not pretty from any point of view.

12. Disney World!!!  But who doesn’t?!  I’ve been 3 times, twice in high school and once when I was real little, and I STILL didn’t get to see all of it!  Not nearly as much as I want to!  I think about it more now because of Epcot, all the different cultures shoved into one place.  I wish I could visit it again before I leave for the Race so I could compare the Disney knockoff to the real thing, haha.

13. Extra firm pillows

14. BuildaBear Workshop

15. My MANY non-biological families!!  I don’t want to start naming them on here because I’ll forget someone and hurt feelings and I just don’t want to do that.  But you mean more to me than words can describe!!!

16. I know I mentioned reading, but what about books?!?! I love books over ebooks any day!  The smell of a new book is the best smell in the whole wide world to me!

17. My car, a little old ’94 Pontiac Grand Pre.  Its name is a combo because I couldn’t chose between the 2 — Sarah Jane John Smith!  Can I get a woot woot from my fellow Whovians?!  Haha.  SJJS for short.

18. I love to travel!  Anywhere and everywhere I want to go!

19. Here’s the food one — I love cheese, chicken, chocolate….the essential C’s, haha.

20. Music!  Oh my, how I am eternally and constantly thankful to God that He gave me the ability to hear!  How to explain music’s meaning to me — it’s the rhythm of my soul, it’s what brings me joy when I am down, it brings me through a rough day, it sends my spirit higher, it gets me pumped, it wakes me up, it calms me down….music is my favorite form of worship! Singing, praising, lifting our hands! Oh, to one day hear the angels sing and the trumpets roar!!

21. Movies of course! Anything and everything from Casablanca to Tomb Raider, Pride and Prejudice to Twilight, Cinderella (fav!) and Brave to Underworld, Van Helsing, The Wedding Date, King Arthur, Gone with the Wind, Sabrina, The Devil Wears Prada, The DaVinci Code, Australia, The Time Traveler’s Wife, and soooo many more!!

22. My iPhone.  Now hear me out, I don’t love it because it’s the “new thing,” blah, blah, blah.  I love it because of all the different things it can do!  Not social networking, that’s a plus but that’s not it.  I can Facetime family and friends, I can text for free from anywhere in the world with other iPhone users when I have wifi, I can convert currency, I can play games, I can listen to music, I have an alarm clock, a dictionary, maps, photos, contact information, my bank, my shopping, the radio, books, audiobooks, flashcards, and more!
So this was a LOT harder than I thought it would be, so I turned it into 22 things I love, in honor of my age!  Maybe I’ll do a blog later on that is 100 things about me.  I feel that would be easier.  I hope you enjoyed it!
