Hi Everyone!

A lot has been going on this week & I just keep forgetting to post about it!  First off, I faced a huge fear of mine….spiders!  Well, A spider, but still.  It was in the shower the other night & I thought to myself, "self, you're going to have to be dealing with spiders all the time on the Race!  It's time to face your fear.  With God I am strong, I am not fearful, I have strength in Him to overcome all obstacles, even spiders!"  The little guy started to get too close to me though, so I sprayed around him to try & get him to climb back up, but accidentally sprayed his legs.  So I went ahead and put him out of his misery. sad

Another big thing to happen this week was getting to meet my squad mates on video chat called Zoom.  It's free & you can do group chats of many people & even share screen so that you can show them something on your computer. Very cool! We've been generally chatting but also asking questions about their fundraising so far, praying for each other for yard sales, car washes, and such, asking sociology type questions (STEPHIE!), packing questions, and we've talked some theological stuff recently too!  It's been really great getting to know everyone.  For those who don't know, we also have a Facebook group & that's how we all met & have been getting to know each other as well.

Except for maybe a handful I have sent all of my fundraising letters out now!  So if you're reading this you're either one of those people or a Facebook friend.  Either way thank you for reading my blog! I'm still getting the hang of "putting everything out there" but I am learning & will continue to update everyone on how my journey is going.

Our church's administrative director gets back from vacation this weekend so hopefully I will be meeting with him this coming week to discuss visiting Sunday school classes as well as some fundraising ideas that I have had.  Speaking of, I am making friendship bracelets!  I have skinny ones & some thicker ones & I'll also can make them with names on them.  I will be selling them for $1, $3, and $5.

And thanks to donations beginning to come in I now have $600 in my account!  Praise the Lord!  This means I know have 1 1/2 months of my Race fully funded, yay!  I will begin sending out thank you notes very soon. I am so blessed by God, our Jehovah Jirah who will provide!  Thank you so much for your continued support everyone, especially your prayers!

Love you all!!
