Sometimes there are months that are everything that you expected from the very first day.  Sometimes there are months that are nothing you expected ever, the entire month.  Sometimes there are months where you show up, see the potential, and before you know it, you have fallen in love with the most unlikely of places.

And here we are… in a weird suburb of Phnom Penh.  We've all been sick.  We've all been hot.  We've all been challenged.  We've all been pushed.  We've all been drained.  We've all had struggles this month and we've all pushed through.

We found ourselves surrounded by incredible people with huge hearts, beautiful children, lots of poverty along side extreme wealth, and many seemingly opposite things that somehow work together.

I was humbled this month in so many ways and I am so thankful for that.  I am thankful for the 12 hour days like today that we pushed through to see God do incredible things in the community around us.  I am thankful that we chose joy every day this month.  I am thankful that we pushed into patience.  I am thankful that we chose perseverance.  I am thankful that we opted into the opportunity that God put in front of us with willingness.  I am thankful for all of the little ones in these pictures that show us so much love every day.

We have one week left to love on the people here, so pray that we love relentlessly.  Pray that our hearts and our minds stay present and that dive head first into what God is doing in this place.  Pray that we finish well and fill every place we enter with God's presence.  And thank Him that He is giving us the privilege of being a part of the work He is doing in Cambodia.
