Ok, I confess.
I have been stalling on writing about training camp.
Because honestly, I don’t even know where to start.
Camp was an extremely intense experience for me and I think it’s pretty safe to say everyone else involved.
God did so much!
I mean He was
there and He led the entire camp; every moment of it.
Every seminar, every activity, every song, every conversation, every prayer, every waking moment was led by Him.
I mean heck, the Holy Spirit was so present I was praying in my sleep, literally.
I would fall asleep praying and wake up praying about something completely different!
He did not skip a beat.
He broke us, woke us, and overtook us.
He has changed me; so much so that I can hardly recognize myself, and the best part about it is that I know this is only the beginning.
He revealed His heart for us; His heart for me.
I think one of my biggest struggles was believing that He really wants to use
ME; that he cares about teeny insignificant little ol’ me.
Does anyone else have trouble believing that?
Well, I did.
But He revealed, confirmed, and re-confirmed that He has a very specific purpose for me; for my existence.
He has a specific purpose for each and every life created.
Each of us were fearfully and wonderfully made to worship and glorify Him in a very specific way.
And yet we are all unified by the same great commission:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28: 18-20

That is why we are here, to serve and glorify God.
To not only follow Jesus, but to be Jesus!
To be Jesus to one another, to Christians, to the lost, to the thieves, to the orphans, to the poor, to the rich, the black, white, brown, and heck even the purple (just incase you ever run into anyone purple).
We are called to be more.
More?
Yes, more!

Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That’s the most sensible way to serve God.
2Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.

Romans 12:1-2

Do not conform to this world.
We have, well I have, and maybe I shouldn’t speak for you, but yea you have been deceived!
This is not it.
We are not helpless!
We have not been defeated!
We can make a difference!
We have inherited the power and authority of Jesus Christ, of God!
Jesus said himself, ”
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.
He will do even
greater things than these.

Greater things than these?? What about that says we are insignificant and that we cannot make a difference??
Where did we get the idea that we can’t do anything about “IT”.
That we “can’t change the world”?
Rise up Brother and Sisters of the LORD!
Take back what is yours!
Claim your inheritance!
Be great!
That is what you are called to be.
That is what you were created to be!
Don’t allow yourself to be deceived.
Don’t continue to sit back and allow the enemy to steal your fruit.
Stand up to him.
Tell him, “YOU ARE A BIG FAT LIAR AND I HAVE AUTHORITY OVER YOU!”
Plant seeds and plant some more.
Water them and water them again.
Watch them grow and delight in the beautiful fruit that is produced.
And don’t forget to savor the sweet taste of victory!
