This month on the World Race has looked a little different than previous months. Instead of being partnered up with one ministry and serving along side of them, this month we have been in Manila looking for and meeting with ministries. It has been our job to contact ministries here, learn about the work they are doing and assessing whether they would be a good fit for the World Race and if the World Race would be a good fit for them.
Last Thursday I had the pleasure of speaking with Dave Daggett who works with International Missions Board here in the Philippines. They are doing great Kingdom focused work all over the country.
Here in Manila, in the Quezon Province, they have church planting teams, schools, medical missions and participate in prison ministry.
Their Batangas team does church planting in communities, campus ministries and deaf church planting.
In Camarines Norte there are church planting teams, medical missions and schools.
They also have a Samar River Jungle church planting team (which I think sounds awesome!)
And they have church community planting teams in Iloilo and Cebu.
These people are really doing God’s work and if you would like to learn more about the work Dave is doing please visit his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/dave.daggett.56
