11 countries. 11 months. 1 mission.
The World Race is a journey to 11 countries in 11 months to serve “the least of these” while being a part of an intimate community of fellow racers. This unique mission trip is an adventure that will challenge me to abandon all of my worldly possessions and exchange the life that I have become accustomed to in order see and experience God throughout the world.
Each month on the World Race will look a little different.
Once we arrive in a country my squad will split up into teams and spread out across the country to pair with churches and ministries already established. We could be serving in a variety of different capacities ranging from construction, VBS, working in orphanages, praying for the sick at a hospital, ministering to those enslaved by sex trafficking, and helping with any needs that arise.
Each month and/or day could look extremely different, but at the core each day will be focused on being a part of God’s kingdom work.
The World Race is ultimately about people.
It is about learning what it means to be the body of Christ, partnering with local churches, uniting in prayer, discipleship, and removing the walls from our ministry.
I will be leaving on the World Race in September 2015 and I will be traveling to…
China, Mongolia, Japan, Nepal, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
I am called to the World Race to share love with all that I encounter but before I can begin this journey… I NEED YOU!!
I want you all to journey with me over the next year and if you feel led you can join me in three specific ways: Prayer. Share. Support.
Prayer. This is the most important thing that you could do! 11 months is a long time to be traveling. I know that I will have experiences that will be both wonderful and challenging, and I know that I could not survive the trip without prayer. Please pray for me as I prepare to leave on the World Race, for my spiritual preparations as well as my financial preparations.
Share. Share the mission of the World Race and my story with everyone you meet and know. This is the easiest way to share what God has been doing in my life and what God is doing throughout the world. Let us all join together to build the Kingdom!!
Support. I need to raise $16,257 in order to leave on the World Race. This covers all of my expenses while I am on the race including travel expenses, housing expenses, and all food. If you feel like God is calling you to support me financially please PRAY about it first and then if you feel led please SUPPORT ME!! Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated!
