Well, this is a shot in the dark! Pun intended. Haha (because Christ say’s I am light in the world). After much procrastination and avoidance, solely because of fear, I am announcing the launching of a new blog! : ) Although it is terrifying, I am incredibly excited about it at the same time. It is created to share my experience, strength and hope. I am sharing my story and my relationship with the Lord with the hopes that someway and somehow the Lord will bless others with it. The reality of life is that we live in a broken world. A lot of us (really all of us, it just depends on if you choose to acknowledge it or not) are broken. The word broken in our society has a somewhat negative connotation. We don’t like to say, “we are broken” because that means we are weak. I think you are right in that belief. It does mean we are weak. But there is nothing wrong with being weak, because where we are weak, He is strong. Surrendering my entire life to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was BY FAR the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. I was broken before the Lord and I knew it was either my way or His way. I chose His way. His way has been far more beautiful than I could have EVER imagined. My hope is that it is just a place for a sweet breath of fresh air. A place where you can find and rest in truth. A place of peace and comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Brokenness is ok and honestly can be the biggest blessing in the world. It was for me.
