Welcome Everyone!

First and foremost, thank you so much for visiting my blog. I am honored that you have taken the time to come read about my wild ride of a journey thus far and to figure out what this whole World Race thing is all about.

I hope you spend time getting to know me and my story through this blog but remember it can never replace personal conversations and relationships so PLEASE feel free to reach out to me to dive deeper.

The interesting part about my journey is the Lord led me to the World Race before I even knew who He was (yep you read that right, I decided to go to this huge Christian gathering before even becoming a Christian, ha!, it’s funny to think about now). I surrendered my heart to the Lord at my first training camp in October 2015. My relationship with the Lord that completely wrecked and transformed my life began at that time and this was when the beginning of my World Race started : )

I am originally from NC but have been a nomad living in VA, AZ and the Pacific Northwest over the past few years. I did my undergraduate work at East Carolina University and then graduated from Shenandoah University with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Over the past couple of years in graduate school I was blessed to have the opportunity to participate in medical mission trips to Haiti, Guatemala and Uganda. These trips were life changing for me and upon return I yearned to continue doing more of this type of work.

I hoped that someday I would be able to help more but I had no idea what that might look like!

Through a series of divine appointments, I was lead to the World Race. I kind of went into it blindly thinking to myself, “What the heck? Why not?”

For those close to me, they know that the idea of religion and God, has been a tough battle throughout my life. It has only been through tough times and struggles over the past couple of years that I had really been able to connect and develop a relationship with a “Higher Power.”

I say this because I want you to know the TRUE story. It has not been glamorous and it has not necessarily been fun by any means but I would not trade any of it because it has gotten me to where I am at today. Completely and totally head over heels in love with Jesus!!!! : )

We are not perfect and everyone has their own story. I want you to know that there is ALWAYS hope and it is never too late to develop a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is actively pursuing you right now, all you have to do is acknowledge Him.

None of this would be happening if it wasn’t for Him. I am 100% sure of that. I am also 100% sure I would not be taking this chance if I didn’t know He was going to take care of me. He has blessed me with a wonderful education in a field I am extremely passionate about. With that, I hope to help people on this journey physically, mentally and spiritually.

Thank you for checking in and reading about me. I hope you continue to check in and see Gods work through me. I promise to stay on top of this blogging thing and share as much as possible with you. I truly do hope each and every one of you can learn and grow with me throughout this entire journey!
