Dear Family and Friends,
Hello! I hope everything is going well with you. I can’t believe another year is almost gone! It’s been too long since we’ve spoken, and I just wanted to reconnect, and let you know about some of the great things that are happening in my life.
Since graduating last year from Evangel University, I have lived and worked in Springfield, MO. I have also been attending James River Assembly and volunteering at the church. For some time now, I have felt God is calling me to do mission work overseas, and I am finally stepping out in faith to go. Currently, I’m preparing to go on an 11-month Christian mission trip called The World Race to 11 different countries around the world. A few of these include Ireland, Ukraine, Romania, Israel, Egypt, Uganda, and Cambodia. In these countries we will be doing hands on ministry, evangelism, church planting and discipleship. World Racers develop humble hearts that propel their hands and feet to move for God’s kingdom around the globe. The best part of the World Race is that it’s merely the beginning of a greater life-long adventure.

I truly believe God has given me this opportunity and I trust He will meet my needs. Ultimately, my prayer is He will do that through you. I would be honored if you would consider partnering financially and prayerfully with me in this ministry. I am specifically asking for five people who will commit to pray for me each day until I return. Also, I must raise $14,300 for the year, which is paid directly to Adventures In Missions (AIM). This will cover all my expenses while on the mission field. Before I am able to leave I need to have $8000 in my support account, which is a short 5 weeks away. I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope which invites you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions and return the response card with your donation to Adventures In Missions, PO Box 534470 Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. The response card will provide AIM with the information necessary to send you a receipt for your donation. Please send all donations by May 22, 2010. You may also donate online by visiting my website at www.sarahhogan.theworldrace.org.
Again, I hope things are going well for you. I’d love to hear an update on what’s going on in your life if you have the time. I will definitely be praying for you. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this letter, and if you have any questions, please let me know. Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon! God Bless You All!
For we are God’s workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
God has work for me to do, PLEASE Help me go!
With Love,
Sarah Hogan
P.S. I realize that not everyone may be able to contribute financially at this time, but I would still ask that you earnestly pray for me and this journey that I am about to embark upon in carrying out God’s work and please pass this letter along to anyone you may know who could possibly be of assistance!
