So as you may know I’m leaving Ireland soon… Monday to be
exact. Before I head into the great unknown (Africa) I wanted to take a moment
(or blog) to recap some of the cool stuff that’s went down this past month.
Here are some stories…

                Well
first of all I love Ireland. We got to stay in a little town called Greystones
that was right on the sea. Every morning I got to wake up and run to the sea.
There was something about its serene beauty that made me feel so close to God.
I would just sit there and worship.  I
could feel the noise of the birds and the earth and the sea worshiping with me.
Once we had free day we went to the beach and laid in the sun to read. While
splashing in the waves(ankle deep, shrieking when the big wakes came) Chad ran
out, captured me, drug me into the freezing the water, and dunked me under. It
was SO COLD. But im not sure I would’ve gotten in otherwise, so I was a little
thankful J

                Another
amazing time we had was our last 2 days with our contacts. Jim, out of the
kindness in his heart, drove 5 of us across country to Galway for the weekend.
It was absolutely beautiful there. We got to watch the sunset in Galway Bay
(which there is a song about FYI), eat fish and chips, then go downtown to
minister to people. So we split up into 2 groups to hand out our tracts and
start conversations. Well Alex Cole, Jenny Hill, and myself had the pleasure of
ministering together, after our tedious long separation from each other J Of course we headed
away from the people(handing out tracts can be somewhat awkward)  and down the back alley to walk by the water
and eventually come back in contact with people. Once we were pretty far way
from people Jenny has the idea that we should pray. We thought, sound like a
decent idea. So we prayed. Immediately after we prayed I wandered over to a
couple sitting and drinking in the dark by the water, who knows why. As I
handed them a tract the girl says “This isn’t any more of that f*@%ing
Christian shit is it?” I was stunned for a moment. She pulled out one of our
tracts, that the other group had given her just before to show us she already
had one. I pulled myself together and said “actually yes it is” and sat down.
The conversation that followed was amazing, and challenging, and scary all in one.
The guy genuinely wanted to know about the Bible, and I had the opportunity to
just talk to the girl until she felt comfortable talking about God. I was so
amazed that I got the chance to see the fruit of our ministry, and hopefully
got to feed into the two of them in that dark alley in the middle of Galway.

Me and Alex eatin chips- aka french fries

    So then
the next morning we got up and set out on another adventure- we went to the
Cliffs of Moher!!! They are actually in the running for the new 7 wonders of
the world (or so the poster in the bathroom said). They were breathtaking!
Giant cliffs as far as the eye could see on the edge of the sea. The winds were
just like we expected- they almost blew you over. I was almost convinced that
if I fell off the side, the winds would blow me back up. I didn’t test my
theory of course, because the Bible says not to put our Lord to a test J Regardless I only got
a little close to the edge, for pictures sake hahah.

  So I
just wanted to give you guys a few of my memories from Ireland, the fun and the
spiritual, Hope you liked it! Let me know, and if so I’ll do more like this, I
had fun writing it J

                Just a
funds update I’m up to $8,600!!! Praise God! I only have 2,900 to go to meet my
next goal! Thank you so much to those of you who have supported and prayed for
me. Gods doing big things through you!

God bless
