I have had such a hard time putting training camp into words since I have arrived home.
How do you explain the indescribable?
So I am going to remain silent.
Training  camp was an amazing week.  An intense experience.
I have a lot of soul searching yet to do.
A lot of work that needs to be done between me and God.
And I couldn’t be more excited.
Change me Jesus. Break me. Mold me.

I would however like to introduce you to N Squad.  These 60 people have already become like family to me.  They are showing me what the Acts church must have looked like.  It has been so powerful and empowering to have a community of believers I can simply be real with.  We are honest about our weaknesses, our struggles, our hurts, and our fears.  We speak life and truth into one another with reminders that we are cherished by our Jesus, that the former things are in the past and He is making all things new and renewing us day by day.   We love and embrace one another and are going to shake the gates of hell next year!

N Squad was formed into small teams of 6-7 people.  These are the people we will travel with, live with and serve with.  We will join up with various teams every month and work alongside them.  I am proud and excited to say that I am on the only all girls team.  Team Radiance.   I am going to borrow an excerpt from my friend and teammate Bek.  She said it far better than I ever could:

“Now don’t let our team name fool you, Radiance.  Yes, you may say, “What a cute girl name.”  And yes, we had a hard time choosing a name BUT let me tell you- there is nothing girly or prissy about radiating hope, courage, life, peace, love and freedom.  There is something beautiful and powerful about a company of women bringing the kingdom full force to this earth, shaking the gates of hell, displacing darkness, being kind to His children, and bringing life with every step.  We are a RADIANT force to be reckoned with and no amount of darkness can dispel this light.  Thank you men for believing in us, celebrating us, and inspiring us so that we can rise to our potential and do what we were created to do.  So, let’s
RISE UP, MEN OF GOD! RISE UP, WOMEN OF GOD! We are agents of righteousness and change, here to bring value, worth, and dignity to the hurting, forgotten, and dying. The time is now.  We have a responsibility. We unite because we have a mandate, there are orphans to rescue, people to love. It’s not just a whisper guys, it’s a shout; you can’t ignore it- we NEED to tell people that there is a God who loves them and a company of people who believe in them. You are believed in… “follow the sound.”
