Hello from New Zealand! We safely arrived this morning at 4:30 A.M. after a 13 hour plane ride. Yay for 10 plus hours of sleep! We are experiencing slight jet lag and some confusion as we somehow jumped forward in time and skipped all of Monday and already it is Tuesday afternoon New Zealand time.
Goodbyes were much harder than I anticipated and my heart still aches from missing my loved ones. I cried off and on throughout the plane ride but am beginning to feel more at peace. I am trying to look forward and anticipate all that is going to occur this year. God is bigger than even my wildest imaginations and I can’t wait to watch Him at work.
New Zealand is absolutely beautiful. I took a short run today and stood in awe at the beauty of God’s creation. I am unable to put pictures up today because of the internet connection I am on but will try to do so shortly.
We are currently in Matamata, New Zealand. Our first week here will consist of training before beginning our ministry. We have yet to learn in which areas we will be serving while we are here. I will try to keep you all posted as often as I am able.
Well, I guess that’s it for now. I wont be able to get online until later on in the week but hopefully by that time I will have more information and pictures to share. I miss each of you so much and once again want to express how much it means to have you share this journey with me.
Sarah
P.S. Here’s your shout out I promised, Kelly! I am so thankful I had the chance to see you while in MI. I had an absolute blast with you and your sisters and of course, Luke. Mouh is my new favorite game and I can’t wait to play it again! I love you and miss you already. Kiss, Kiss!
