Follow up on my previous blog:

At this point, the only thing I can do, is say thank you. Thank you a million times, to God.

Yesterday, we all went to the beach. Leah and Bethsaida went to the restaurant to meet up with the young girl, and Stacey and I went to find the old man to play volleyball with.
We all waited and waited, but didn’t see any sign of either of them. Bethsaida and Leah were a little bummed, because they really wanted another opportunity to talk to this girl.
After about an hour of waiting, A few of us ran into the Old man from California. We talked to him a little bit and made plans to play volleyball with him later. He randomly asked if we were a group of Missionaries, because the girl that he was with yesterday had talked to some. We told him yes, we were a part of that group. I then asked him where the girl from yesterday went. He said that “the missionary girls” really spoke to her. He said that she explained to him that she couldn’t go  home with him that night because she felt that what she was doing wrong. The man said that in his opinion, what she was doing ‘wasn’t hurting anyone’ And her response was, “It may not be hurting anyone else, but I’m hurting myself.” And she left.
Why this old man was so open with us in sharing their conversation? I’m not sure. But to hear that news, we couldn’t be more grateful. Glory be to God.
Whats funny, is that last night we sang a worship song called “Come Away with me” We sang it and prayed for this girl at the same time, hoping that God would move her.
———————————————————————————-
Come away with me, Come away with me
Its never too late, It’s not too late, its not too late for you.
I have a plan for you, I have a plan for you
Its gonna be wild, its gonna be great, Its gonna be full of me.
Open up your heart and let me in.

Around the same time that we sang this song, is the time that she was having the conversation with the Old man, telling him that she couldn’t go through with it. And because of what Leah and Bethsaida said to her, her words affected him, and got him to thinking as well. The chain reaction once again.
Thank you, God, and thank everyone who has been praying for these people.
