Yesterday, my team and I were discussing the word preach. Preach is a very powerful word. It is powerful, because when someone is preaching, they are giving their heartfelt opinion; sometimes with intensions of guidance, and instruction. It’s powerful, because some people may not be in agreement with what the preacher is saying which can easily strike conflict. The word is so powerful, that it tends to have a negative connotation. It’s hard to consider someone’s words if they do not ‘practice what they preach’.
The word ‘preach’ means to make known.
The main idea of the World Race is to preach God’s word, because once you fully understand the profundity of God’s love, the more you want to make it known to people who haven’t seen or felt it yet.
It’s easier said than done, however, because it’s not always easy to strike conversation with random people, let alone about God. It can sometimes be hard enough to talk about God to our best friends, and the people we love the most. Its especially hard for me, being on the race, because I can’t even verbally communicate with the majority of people in other countries, due to the language barrier; thus it ends up being a big game of charades. Is that an excuse to not share Gods love? I think not. If it’s hard, try harder.
“Preach at all times. When necessary, use words.”
This quote has been such an inspiration for me. I don’t need words to demonstrate how big Gods love is. As cliche as it sounds, actions speak a heck of a lot louder than words, and there is a big world out there that needs as much positive, Christ-like influence as it can get.

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Therefore we must
