In a week’s time I’ve been in Massachusetts, Georgia, London, South Africa, and Swaziland.
Isn’t it amazing how you can be in one part of the world and hours later end up in an entirely different place?!
Well our training has officially ended.  Last night AIM and the January team led us in a commisioning service.  It was an amazing time of breathing life and encouragement into one another as well as a sweet time of worship and prayer.

Safari animals :-)

We found out where “team concrete” is going.  We’ll be staying in the AIM guesthouse in Swazi until June 20th.  I believe we’ll be assisting AIDS patients in a near by hospital.  After that we’ll have 4 days of training in South Africa, followed by 3 weeks worth of children’s camp.  Woohoo!  It looks like we’ll be working in different parts of Africa until the end of August.

I’ve met some wonderful people here.  Whenever I can get to the internet cafe I stop 2 doors down to see my friends who own a wedding accessory store.  Whenever I come in they throw their arms up in the air and there are hugs all around.  Each time I see them I get to learn a little more about Swazi culture and family life.  Yesterday one of the women introduced me to her brother whom she quickly added was single (ha ha).  She said that they have 43 siblings.  Wow!  I’m on my way to see her now and we’ve promised to share pictures of our families.  I only have a little time left here.  Pray that I get to share how much God loves her before I leave.

Blessings from Swazi!
