We made it!
  I can’t believe we’re here in Swaziland!
After a 12-hour flight from England and a 4-hour bus ride, we pulled in to AIM’s
Swazi guesthouse to be greeted by 50+ January racers.
  It was amazing and overwhelming!
They were all cheering for us as we climbed out of the buses (which look more like vans) and were met with lots of hugs and introductions.
All 80+ of us are staying here for a while.
The girls sleep indoors in bunk beds and the guys are outside in tents.

Saturday (the day we arrived) all of us were exhausted.
We had dinner (which a local cook makes for us every night), a short service and then most of us went to bed.
The food has been really good.
We’ve been eating a lot of pasta, bread, oatmeal and pb&j.

Sunday morning we got up for breakfast at 7am, followed by a bunch of training sessions (which we’ll be doing for at least the next week), had lunch, did some team building activities, had a 3 hour break in which I slept (it’s amazing how much you can sleep amongst such noise), followed by dinner and an evening worship service.

The people we’ve met here have been really sweet and I’m looking forward to getting on the field and ministering to them.
Please pray that all this training really prepares us for the things we’ll soon be encountering and also for the cough I have to disappear.
  Thank you!
We won’t have access to the internet for about a week so as soon as I can I’ll post some pictures.
Meanwhile you might be able to find some on some of my other team mates sites.

Love, Sarah

P.S.- For our safety we’re required to at least bring 3 other people where ever we go.
  Don’t worry Dad and Mom!
