For the last 3 weeks I’ve been teaching English to Preschoolers. It has been a blast! Here is a quick video of the preschool, my friends Nin and Niymol (who are the teacher’s assistants) and me teaching. I will miss them all so very much.
My friend Angie asked to me to pass this info (below) along in case anyone was interested in teaching here in Cambodia. Please be praying as they desperately need some American teachers to teach English to these sweet little ones.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Readily understandable native English-speaker (English is your first language).
- Christian.
- Must love children.
Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience as a preschool or primary school teacher.
- Previous cross-cultural experience.
- Servant’s heart and willing to be flexible.
Job Description:
- Teaching (70%)
- Staff Development (20%) – both conducting and participating in staff training.
- Organization/Curriculum (10%) – We use excellent home-school curriculums that are easy to use and easy for new teachers to learn.
Hours of Work:
- Monday thru Friday, 8am – 11:30am.
- School year begins the first of September and finishes at the end of May.*
- 22 days of holidays (Cambodian national holidays plus three days Teachers’ In-service) within the school year.
- Teachers need to commit to staying for one school year (minimum 6 months, renewable).*
