Hey guys! I got safely into the Atlanta airport yesterday and was greeted with hugs from all of teammates, coaches and AIM staff .
We got lunch, filled out paperwork, spent time in prayer and even got to pray for a soldier that joined us for awhile. AIM staff headed off and we got inline to check in. Great right? Wrong! British Airways started checking us and some of
our luggage thru but then they realized how many of us there were and everything stopped.

Apparently they needed verification that we wouldn’t be staying in Africa forever. otherwise they could be fined. Long story short, we held up the plane, some luggage went missing for a bit, and we ended up not flying anywhere. :-0 AIM staff kindly brought a bus to take us back to their headquarters where we spent the night. Today nine of us (randomly chosen) are flying out today. The rest of us (myself included) fly out tomorrow and will follow the same sort of schedule in our original plan.
The great thing is we’ve had plenty of down time to rest and pray and prepare some more. We’re excited about our departure tomorrow! Thanks for all your prayers!
