This has been an amazing day! Every once in a while I log into my world race account to check on my support status. Today when I logged in it said that I’M 100% FULLY SUPPORTED! I’m pretty sure I sat there in shock for at least 5 minutes before I started jumping around and yelling I’m completely supported!!!! Thank you Jesus! Thank you to all the people who have supported me! I am so blessed.
And it gets better; about a half hour later our squad got the news that an anonymous donor has agreed to pay the remaining balance of anyone that needs it on c squad. How cool is that?! Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is such a huge blessing for our squad. We will be able to spend the remainder of our time focusing on ministry and not worrying about support. God is so good!
What “fully supported” means is that the $13,000 I needed to go on the race and complete it has been paid for. If the Lord lays it on your heart to support me financially, any money that is sent in now will go to reimbursing me for things that the $13,000 does not cover, such as health insurance for the year, flight costs to and from training, flight cost to the start of the race, and flight cost home at the end of the race.
This whole thing has been very humbling and amazing. I’ve come to realize that all the people in my life have such genuine kindness. Whether you’ve helped support me with one dollar or a thousand, and because of your faithful prayers, I am eternally grateful and so are the people that we are impacting together.
