Thank the Lord we arrived safely to Matamoros, Mexico. It is very dusty here and as I speak I feel the dust getting on my laptop…may have to trade it in after this trip! We are all in good spirits and getting ready for preparation through an orientation. I love my team! Parts of the legs are a race from one destination to the next. Out of all the teams, my team has the least experience in missions travel…but I think we have the biggest hearts! So, we shall see how we fair during the race portions.

I have a bunk bed to sleep in and hot water to shower, however we can’t drink the water. So, I can’t complain….and I have internet connection in the local missionary’s home, Bog Waag. He has an open door policy to all of us. How wonderful he is! In the next week we prepare to make our next leg of the journey with a race to Palenque, Mexico (south Mexico). Our team is starting to do our research to find the quickest, safest, and most cost efficient way to get to Palenque. Right now I think we are either thinking about taking a bus or purchasing a car and then selling it back. Keep us in your prayers for safety and wisdom as we travel.
