Sorry I haven’t written to in awhile but I have been in a few areas without internet access or I have not have much time. But I did want to fill you in on what I have been doing.

First we made it to Thailand in the beginning of the month, safe and sound. We went from two extremes freezing cold in China to roasting in Thailand. We spent a few days in Bangkok just resting and relaxing. I went and had an awesome authentic Thai massage which is a lot different than a Swedish massage. The American dollar goes a lot further in Thailand so the massages we had were very cheap. We also spent some time on a boat tour through the canals in Bangkok…what a sight…the homes were right on the water! We ate very delicious Thai food, swam in the pool, shopped, and sang Karaoke one night…we didn’t sound very good, though!

The last evening in Bangkok was quite and eye opener and I am glad that we did that the last night because I was enjoying Bangkok until I saw this….the Red Light district. We knew this district in the evening becomes a sex trade business. We decided to go at about 11pm at night to prayer walk the district. The girls are between the ages of 6-30 and they are tricked into coming to Thailand, sold by their family, or stolen. They are forced into prostitution and are beaten or killed if they attempt to get out. If they don’t sell enough during the night they are beaten and the police and government may use them for free. As the Women World Racers walked through all the clubs praying for the bondage these women are in, we saw the most sadden faces by these young girls. They had a look on their face as to say “Help me!” It just tore my heart apart and I was stunned to see such perversion. When I got back to my room I just cried out to God asking Him why such things happen in this world. I felt that God’s heart is very sad at the sex trading happening in Thailand. I pray that someday I will be able to help one young girl out this sickness. Please pray for the young girls of Thailand that God will help to bring people to release them from this bondage! Purposefully I decided not to take any pictures of this district.
