I was very challenged in Qussia, Egypt working with the Coptic Orthodox Christian Church. Even though many of their traditions and rituals I do not understand, God taught me that as long as we love Him with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength it doesn’t matter the name on the door.
Bishop Thomas offered us his beautiful palace (home) to live in with his personal chef preparing our meals. When the Bishop spoke with us you could see his love for Jesus and his heart for missions. He preaches unity among all Christians no matter what the denomination to reach a hurting world together. He really encouraged me in this area.
I was able to spend everyday at the local orphanage just playing and loving the children.
Please enjoy some photos of my time in Cairo and Qussia, Egypt.
