The blue team along with a local missionary (Cory) living here from the states created our own 4th of July celebration…Mostar style. I am finding in most of the countries around the world it is hard to find food like we get in the US. So, we did our best to buy picnic food.

Cory set up chairs on the porch at his house along with a grill. While Chad and Corey were “men and made fire” on the grill, myself, Cathy and Casey made potato salad, burgers, and salad. We sat on the porch as the sun went down and thought about our country. It was great…just 5 Americans having a picnic and hanging out. It really did feel like home.

I was remembered of the soldiers present (my husband included) and past who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we have today and for the freedoms and safety we still long for. I want to say a special “Thank You” to all the Veterans and Current Military who have served and are serving our wonderful country, The United States of America. God Bless you, we are praying for you, and come home soon!
