Team Wrecked With Love is in Kenya! Well, we have been for almost two weeks now. But we only have internet access once a week, so that's why there has been a silence on the blog front. I have two awesome, thrilling, exceptional blogs typed out and ready to go on my jump drive. But alas, as technology would have it, they are not in the right format for me to open them on the computer here in the internet cafe.

SO! Next week, I will make sure to get them in the RIGHT format, and you all can read about our amazing time so far in AFRICA! Be sure to check in next Thursday and catch up on at least three new blogs! Sorry for the delay in updates.

Just for a quick taste of what our time so far has been like:

-Eating lots of delicious food, including chapati, ugali, rice and beans, potatoes, etc.
-Drinking copious amounts of chai tea. Can I just say, I LOVE TEA!
-Waking up to a rooster crowing every morning, and then it just keeps going all day long.
-Playing with kids in the feild, they love my hair and said it looks like a lion.
-Getting a Kenyan name! Chimpto, which means Morning.
-Going door to door and sharing encouragement and Scripture with nearby villages.
-Having tons of bonding moments with the team, both funny and serious
-Letting God work on my heart and strip everything away so that only He remains
-Praying bold and dangerous prayers.
-Showering with a bucket
-Using squatty pottys and the buddy system for support.
-Being a part of amazing African worship and feeling the joy and freedom in it.

So, until next time! Stay tuned! Continue to pray for us as we go out into the community with our contact and minister to all of the people here. God is moving!
