Welcome! I'm so glad you came to my site to have a look around! God is leading me on an exciting adventure, continuing to write His grand, beautiful story into my life.
In August 2011, I will be saying "see ya later" to my beautiful home in Tucson, Arizona. That does mean that I will get to say goodbye to a few things that I won't miss much…including,
This lovely guy…

Although, I'm hoping I won't run into any BIGGER spiders in other parts of the world, but I feel that may be inevitable. I'm arming myself with some heavy shoes to chuck at any eight legged "friends" that come my way.
I'll also say sayonara to all of the lovely pokey things found when living in a desert environment. I can (maybe) touch plants again without worrying I will be layering my hand with glue later to pull out thorns and spikes, hooray!

Don't let this cactus' pretty heart shape distract you from its tiny thorns everywhere!
Ok, in all seriousness, I will miss my beloved Arizona. I have grown quite fond of the desert, and the people in it. I will be saying goodbye to my bed, hot showers, western toilets, and a whole lot of modern conveniences that I take for granted every day here in America.

Why, you ask?
God has called me, and I have answered. And giving up everything to go and follow that call is worth it in EVERY way. God is faithful and will provide for what He has called me to. I cannot WAIT for the adventure that is coming.
In August, I will leave everything familiar.
I will join with about 60 other people my age who are living a life of abandonment to follow a call that God has placed on their hearts to touch the world for HIS glory and HIS name. Not ours, but His.
Starting in August, I will set off on a mission that will bring me to the doorstep of 11 different countries in 11 months.
Our journey begins in…
Kenya.
Tanzania.
Uganda.
Malaysia.
Vietnam.
Cambodia.
The Philippines.
China.
Ukraine.
Moldova.
Romania.
////////// 11 countries.

//////////// 1 mission.
To walk as Jesus did, and share his light and love with a dark and hurting world. To share his hope and message with those who may have never heard it before. To offer our lives and service to those who desperately need to see Christ's love worked out.
To pray. To love. To heal. To serve. To be.
This is going to be one life changing year for all of us.
Won't you join me on this great mission God has called me to? Please prayerfully consider supporting me, whether it be financially or through prayer. We need our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to surround us and partner with us as we go to the nations, bringing God's love and grace to the world.
Be a part of what God is doing across the globe!
