I've never been a girly girl, never been one to seek a girls only environment; yet when groups were selected for my upcoming 11 month mission trip, I was placed on an ALL girls team!
My initial reaction was, "oh no…you've got to be kidding!"
My second reaction was, "ummm, is this really my small group for 11 whole months?!"
And when peace came to my spirit, a whole 12 hours later, I thought, "God, I know you have plans for my life and have a great work planned with this group of amazing ladies."
After an afternoon of caffine, fries, and bonding, I feel that the Girls of Grace will truly work together to create a crazy strong bond that will change the world with lasting impacts.
The World Race kicks off in January and these ladies are going to be stronger, more faithful, more open and obedient to God than they ever imagined. The force of this union will truly be something to watch grow, flurish and influence the world for the good of God!
