Whatever the name, I remain the same.  I am confident, opinionated and adventurous.  I love to smile, laugh, and talk.  I tend to enjoy taking the “not-so-predictable” path.

(Often, I think the best path is under water and requires Scuba diving!!!)

In high school I decided to apply to the Air Force Academy instead of a state school with 98% of my classmates.   Once at the Academy, I became a cheerleader and started a dance team!

While struggling with my position in the Air Force, I began really searching my heart for redirection and purpose.  God clearly communicated a need for change.

I needed the cream and white of my life to be overwhelmed with purple, red, yellow, blue and green.  Then for all the colors to mix and form a beautiful illustration of life!

I was looking at joining the Peace Corps when a window was opened…an internet browsing window to be exact.  My mom sent a link for me to look at and it was like the movies, a heavenly choir singing to indicate that the page I had found was the perfect thing for me.  Adventures in Missions World Race Program practically pulled me in, heart, mind and soul.

Ever so grateful for my mother to take the chance and send me the link, I applied for the race.
Less than one week later, I was informed that I would be accepted for the January 2012 launch to spend one year of my life really listening, growing and depending on the Lord!

I’m super excited for the challenges ahead.  My greatest wish:  “to give as much as I get from all the people I encounter next year.”
