the trip of a life time [the world race] that i have been talking about for months is finally about to begin. tomorrow i will be traveling to atlanta with my parents for launch. it is crazy to think that i began applying last august and [roughly] 365 days later, it is actually happening!

so what exactly has been going on since training camp? glad you asked. these last forty-six days have been a whirlwind. my family and i went to california to visit ben [my little brother] over the fourth of july… went to sodak [home] for a day and then my mom and i went on a two week road trip visiting friends & family in eleven states. after my u.s. tour, i moved all of my belongings into my grandma’s basement. to add onto that, i had to pack for the world race. let me tell you, it was tough figuring out what exactly was a “necessity.” because if you know me, everything [literally everything] is a necessity. i’m assuming my glitter duct tape will come in handy while fending off the pythons & piranhas in the amazon [hopefully kidding]. & to end my sweet time at home, i was able to have a few of my forty-seven supporters over for south american dessert & story-time with sarah… aka i told them the few details i knew about what is actually going on this year. [side note: i haven’t said it a hundreds times yet, thank you again for supporting me.]

selfie game: strong

to summarize my crazy summer, i decided to make a short video because i know it is much more entertaining than reading this blog.

it has been a very hectic forty-six days, but a very good forty-six days. i am so thankful i was able to spend time with the people that i love most before i leave for eleven months.

shoutout to my parents for helping me pack [twice] & the countless hours you spent successfully getting me healthy again. so mom & dad, thank you for everything. y’all are the real mvp’s.

i am really excited to start this next chapter in my life. God is going to do some mighty things this year through my team & i am excited to see His plan unfold. it’ll be one wild ride.

look out for another blog coming your way next week [cliff hanger, i know].

next stop: atlanta, ga [launch]

peace & blessings.
