There a blogs containing my thoughts coming soon… but until then a few more light hearted ones are on the way. These were posted by Colleen Foley yesterday. One our way to Costa Rica we had a 36 hour Spain extravaganza! We got to spend the night in a cool hostel, tour the city, meet awesome people, and eat amazing food. Here is a glimpse into our excursion:
Our first (very short) layover was in Switzerland….it still counts as a visit…look, there is 1 Swiss Alp in the background!

Once we arrived in Madrid, we were able to visit the Picasso Museum (amazing)…

Some adorable elderly people we got to talk to… (I think the man third in from the left really was the King of Spain… they’ve been friends for a long time and love to come to Madrid to sit on this bench together)

…and we got to meet Danny’s cool friend James…and he introduced us to Choco Churros (yum!)…
We also got to visit/eat at the Museum of Ham…yes, that’s right…the Museum of HAM…
When we flew from Madrid to Costa Rica, we had an overnight layover in Columbia….
Yes, we slept overnight in the Columbia airport (Colleen’s Grammie, don’t be mad!)…
