Last week I got to have a World Race Birthday.  It was weird spending a birthday away from my family, and all the “typical” birthday fare.  But, as I found out, family doesn’t change with distance and family gets redefined. I spent the day blessed by so much love from my family and friends back home and surrounded with love from my World Race family.   I was overwhelmed with cards from Delaware, emails from all over, facebook singalongs, flowers, cake, ICE CREAM (they know me so well already!), and prayer.  I even received a parrot fresh in from Houston.  Thank you thank you thank you.  We have set the bar pretty high for birthdays.  Wow.

So I’m 23 now.  It happened even here in Georgia… and I am so fired up about what this next year is going to look like.  It occurred to me that essentially the entire time I am 23 I will be out here living this life.   What will life look like when I reach 24?  What will you all look like?  How will I view the world?  How is God going to transform us? What does He have planned for this year?  So many questions.

Looking forward to the answers…

Thanks Again!
