Saying farewell to Mexico turned out to be a lot harder than I had ever expected.
We all had tears in our eyes as we said farewell to Noe and his family.
It has been an amazing experience to be able to witness God working wonders in just the short amount of time we have been here.
God has opened so many doors for us, and has showered the people of Palenque with his love and blessings over this month.

I find it so amazing to reflect back and see just how much God works in even the smallest things.
The biggest lesson God taught us during this month is the power of prayer.
We were given the task of helping Noe plant a church in his home.
We began by printing up flyers to invite people to church, and then we would walk around the city handing them out and inviting people to come.
Needless to say, our first couple services were rather hard, and we even had a night where nobody showed up.

Feeling a little frustrated we decided to come together as a group and just spend a day in prayer.
  So that’s what we did.
We prayed for everything we could possibly think of, and the coolest thing about it was God showed up!
That night we had a packed service!
Everything ran so smoothly, we didn’t feel like we had to try because God was working through us.
Once we took the time to give God the glory and place everything we did in his hands, everything became so easy because we were walking in his timing and planning.

We were able to perform a drama and open-air ministry in the center plaza of town.
This was a miracle in itself, as they usually don’t allow preaching.
It was an amazing night, and many people came up to accept Christ at the end.
I spent the night hanging out with Poncho, a local homeless man that we befriended.
Poncho has spent his life untouched and unloved.
Many people in the town hit him and spit on him.
We spent the night loving and holding him while he cried in our arms, thankful to be touched with love.
It’s an amazing feeling knowing that God was using me as a vessel to be his hands and show his love to someone in need.

I am so thankful for this opportunity, and I just want to say thank you again to everyone who is supporting me.
Thank you for all your prayers and please keep commenting on my blogs, as I love to hear from you guys!
Mexico was an amazing time, and I can’t wait to share the adventures ahead!
