TRUSTING IN FAITH

Fundraising is one of the most humbling things I have ever done in my life. Because it’s too big for me. I am depending on God and the body of Christ to see that my needs are met. Which is a good thing because it builds and strengthens relationships between people as they say, “I see your post. I see your need. I’ve got your back and I believe God will use you mightily.” It also causes me to grow in the Lord because it all belongs to Him anyway. Money is not my source, God is my source. And He can make all grace abound. So with that said, I’m going to lay my heart out and say, no joke, I desperately need help.

Basically, these are my needs. I have to raise $7500 by the middle of August in order to launch. I’m praying for God to raise people up to be monthly sponsors, whatever amount that looks like. But one time gifts are great too.

HOW TO GIVE/SPONSOR?

The easiest way to sponsor me is to click on the “SUPPORT ME” button on the left of my blog site and sign up to be a monthly sponsor. It will be automatically taken out of your checking account every month and you won’t have to worry about doing anything after that. Your donations are tax deductible!

Or you can make out a check addressed to Adventures in Missions and mail it to P.O. Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570. Please put my name, Sarah Buffaloe, on the memo line. Adventures In Missions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a long-time member of ECFA. Or you can mail the check to me and I’ll get it to where it needs to go. My address is 2903 Baywood Circle Huntsville, Al 35805. If you need to contact me or have any questions my e-mail address is [email protected].

THE TRUTH

The truth is I don’t like asking for help. I don’t like being needy. But I also know where the Lord is calling me and I love His people and have faith that if you’re reading this, that the Holy Spirit is going to move you to be one of those people I need.

*Please look to the left and click on “Support Letter” to get the details of this World Race I’ll be going on.*

Thank you for thinking Kingdom Minded and giving up that one run through a drive-thu to help send me to make an eternal difference. Life here is temporary. And for those of us who know Jesus, we have a hope that will never diminish. I have a passion to see people put their hope in Jesus. I have a passion to be there, in the pain, in the heartache of life and say, “Jesus is alive. And He loves you. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you’ve made. You are loved.”

We’ve all had those times in our lives when we thought that we didn’t quite measure up to what God expected of us. Or times when we thought we’d failed Him and would never be able to make up for it. Or we’ve been scared to give everything over to the Lord because we didn’t know how He would change it. As one who speaks from experience, let me encourage you that if you know the Lord, you’re already out of the boat. You’re on the water. So radically trust Him. And He will draw you closer to Him.

I’m out in the middle of the ocean myself. No boat in sight because of this World Race that the Lord has called me on. So I know how scary it can be. But believe me when I say, when you seek Him, you’ll find you. Because your identity is in Christ.

Lastly, let me just speak grace over you. Grace over all the areas of your life. The Lord loves you and has called you with a purpose. If you’re reading this, you were meant to read this. So take a breath and rest in the fact that you. are. loved. And that God still has great plans for your life. So don’t be discouraged or weakened by stress. Take heart! He’s already overcome the world! Enjoy your life. Seek Him in everything. And while you’re doing that, please remember me… Be a sponsor. Help a sister in Christ out. And what you give here will stay with you much longer than that sonic blast and cheeseburger that’s my competition…

                                                                                                       Blessings!
