Hello from India! I am typing on my new keyboard that is attached to my new Ipad curtesy of Dad who felt sorry for me and blogging problems. I haven’t had consistent wifi for 2 months now and on top of that I haven’t had a computer to type out my thoughts out, until now!
Since I blogged last I have had some crazy adventures all while serving where the Lord plants me and my team… I have seen a rat the size of a cat that could and did jump 3 feet up in the air to get to his rat home, saw a man die in the middle of the road after being hit by a car, trekked into the mountain villages of Nepal where the only route to get to them includes 14 river crossings, bathed and washed my laundry in the river, was sick 3 times, saw Everest and got a tattoo. WHEW!
In January I was in the boondocks of Cambodia teaching English. Last month I was living part of the time at an orphanage doing construction there, and then spent time in a village where we moved a thousand bricks about 3 quarters of a mile to a school that we then built an extra room onto. And now i am in Hyderabad, India working at a wonderful Christian ministry that I am going to be careful not to give too much information for the safety of the people that work here.
There. There it is on paper finally, a brief overview to get you caught up with where I am now. But if you could only hear what my heart is crying out with crescendoing drums and cymbals playing to heighten the effect. What I cant put on paper. Every emotion that my heart has walked through; every mountain and valley that has been played out and is now etched into the character of my life, all of which cries- He’s faithful to the end. He’s faithful to my heart.
Many blogs to come soon. All my love, Sarah
