Today I told a friend what The World Race is about, what I’m doing, how much money I need, where I’ll go, etc. Her reaction was a blank, in awe stare while I spoke and one sentence: “You’re crazy.”

The more I thought about it, the more I realized how she’s right. I’m absolutely insane for doing this, but when God calls you to do something, He requires you to drop everything and follow Him with reckless abandon. I’m answering God’s call, and I am fueled by His almighty power to make His world a better place.

Oftentimes, we ask God to fix our problems and make the world a better place, while He’s sitting on the other end of the line asking us to do the same. Listen to what God is asking you to do. Are you listening? Are you obeying? Are you being crazy and following what He is commanding of you?

Perhaps by human definition I am crazy for doing this, but I think God’s definition of crazy is different. If the only voice I hear is God’s and my eyes are set on Him alone, then what can stand against me?
