I’m an old woman at heart, perfectly content with a cup of coffee, an oversized sweater [shoulder pads are a fabulous bonus] and a rainy day.

I usually laugh at the most inappropriate times, walk away from a thrift store with a new wardrobe, and have too much fun being the creepy lady in the grocery store who makes your kid laugh.

So it’s a daily debatable topic whether or not I ever actually grew up. Being short somewhat solidifies that answer.

I grew up in a family of 7– two parents, two brothers, and two sisters. They’re great.

I currently call Cannon Beach, Oregon home, but was born and raised in Alaska and Washington state.

I’m a Liberty University alumna with a bachelor’s in Family and Child Development.

I’m a bi-polar vegetarian, because sometimes pepperoni pizza is just too good to pass up.

Two of my closest friends are a journal and a good pen.

To me, laughter and hands are the most beautiful parts of a person.

I’ve been saved by grace and changed by love.

My relationship with Jesus has been an adventure to say the least. I owe him absolutely everything. He has changed my entire being, given me hope for life, and wrecks my heart on a regular basis with his perfect love and friendship.

And there’s no other way I’d have it.
