When you think of being a blessing to someone what do you think of?
For me I think of money.
When I see a man on the side of the road.. I think of how much can I give.
When someone at church, a friend or a family is in need… I think of how much money would help them out.
Have you ever prayed for more money from God so that you have something to give away? I have.
For me I took this for granted as I only thought I would be able to bless others through money. Thinking about it I do have talents and God given gifts that could be a blessing to others that I never thought of before.
There is no point in praying for God to give you more money so that you can be a blessing to others if you are not being a blessing with what you already have. Don't believe Satan's lies that you have nothing to give. Even if it is only a pack of gum or a pen, start using what you have to bless others.
As I discussed this with my team we all came up with ways we can be blessing without giving away or spending money. We are using what we have while on the World Race.
– positive personalities
– teaching English to others who want to learn
– helping make jewelry (me- I did this in Malaysia with homeless women to help them make money)
– Showing God's love
– running errands for someone
-Doing someone's laundry
– watching someone's child for the day
" Lord, help me to realize my physical, emotional and spiritual strengths that you have given me so that I may be a blessing to you and others. Help me grow in various ways as others are a blessing to me."
