These are my thoughts on the sacrifices that God wants me to make for this trip….
1) This is crazy
2) I question them everyday
3) Why me?
4) Why am I the one having to give these things up?
5) Send someone else. I don't know if I can do this…..
Dear God,
Why did you put people in my life who decided to leave me when I chose to go on the World Race because they thought it was crazy??? Why am I going to one session of graduate school and leaving to have come back and pick up the pieces to hopefully graduate? Also, having to quit a job that I was able to get right out of college when most people need 3-5 experience to get this job!?! Why am I being kicked out of my best friend's wedding because I do not know any exact date for when I am leaving? … Now she does not talk to me anymore… Do you not understand these things are hard for me to comprehend?!? You know that I am stubborn at times and I like to do things my way…. why can I not have it my way anymore ?!? Why type of lessons are you trying to teach me before I leave that you think I will not get being away from friends and family for 11 months and going to 11 different countries that I have never been to before? Do you not think that would be enough for me…
