I was an art teacher for six years before shifting into the corporate world with a company striving to improve its industry.
I’ve always loved volunteering in the community, and for the last four years, I’ve been actively involved in community outreach through Elevation Church. The church empowered me as a leader and a volunteer. Through Elevation, I helped coordinate projects, build other leaders and invest in relationships with outreach partners.
I consider myself an artist some of the time and a do-it-yourselfer all the time. Whether it’s refinishing furniture or putting together a quilt, I enjoy working with my hands.
I’m excited to go on this journey and see what God can do through me. I look forward to meeting people where they are and hearing their stories. I’m eager to serve in a new and challenging way since I believe serving others is the best way to spread the love of Christ to the world.
