Can you believe if? There are only 99 days until I launch one of the biggest adventures of my life. If you’re wondering why you haven’t heard much from me lately let me share a little now.
The prospect of blogging about this journey has been one of the most exciting and daunting parts of this adventure. I love reading and I enjoy expressing my thoughts and ideas through the written word, but I as you may have noticed I haven’t posted anything in over a month. What you don’t know, is that it’s been a couple of months of some serious introspection, hard truths and personal growth. God has been teaching me so much that it’s been challenging to put it all down in black and white. While I’m not ready to share EVERYTHING, allow me to share with you 9 things that have been on my mind lately in honor of this 99 day milestone:
- I’m as sure as I ever was that God is calling me to go.
- I am stressed and overwhelmed with preparations. Please be praying for me.
- I have some of the most amazing friends and family in the world. Truly.
- I am increasingly aware and grateful of the very full, rich, and beautiful life that I have right now. And that I’m preparing to leave.
- Everyday God has remained faithful even when I don’t feel like I deserve it.
- Fundraising is HARD, but I’ve raised about 40% of my goal! And Fundraising is HARD, I’ve still got about $11,000 to raise.
- I’m more confident in my faith than I’ve ever been before
- I’m more excited to share my faith than i’ve ever been before
- The struggles I’m facing now are preparing me for what’s to come.
