Wow! I can’t believe it’s actually happening! All my life I dreamed of doing something more than just the ordinary. To venture out of the place I call home, into the world God has created. I’ve always wanted to do something adventurous to reach out and change the world. I had applied for this trip about a year ago, but it seemed so far away. It really didn’t hit me until this week that it is really happening. Now, this dream has become reality. In just a few short hours, I will leave my house and board a plane that will take me to Georgia, and from there a few days later to India!
From getting things together to making time to say goodbye to friends, this week has become very hectic. However, God’s hand has been guiding me through it all. One of the reason I have decided to take this trip was to experience God on a whole new level. I wanted to build my faith I Him as He takes me deeper than I could ever imagine. I wanted to see lives change and miracles take place. I haven’t even left the country yet, and God has already been working inn my life like never before. Just the fundraising process has been one miracle after another. This week alone I have received over $1,000! (and it’s only Thursday) I can’t even began to thank ya’ll enough for your generosity and prayers!
I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to my home church Delphos First Assembly. You guys have been there from the start. I am overwhelmed by all the love and support you have given me. Since the begaining you have laid hands on me and lifted me up in prayer, you all have helped raised a huge portion of my funds, and you have shown a great amount of faith in me. Thank you for giving me opportunities to share what God has been doing in and through me! Just a few hours ago, three amazing women of God laid hands on me to pray, and during that time we felt the Spirit of God walk up behind us. I know I will be safe because of your prayers!
