My Dearest Friends, Family, and Everyone Else!
These past couple weeks have been a total whirlwind! For those of you who have been following my journey, I HAVE REACHED MY FIRST FUNDRAISING GOAL!!!(!!!) That’s right, in just 1 month over $5,000 has been graciously donated so that I can embark on The World Race and share love with lots and lots of people! This is just under one-third of my final goal! Thank you so much for all of your support and I am praying that, together, we can keep hitting those fundraising goals!
If I am being totally honest, I feel like this first $5,000 has completely fallen into my lap. I have seen the Lord use people in such beautiful and generous ways to bless me and this passion to go & serve and that is both astoundingly humbling and completely amazing! However, it is time for me to do my first fundraiser because I believe that I need to put in some elbow grease into this fundraising process and I can’t wait to do that! So here it is… my first fundraiser…
CHICAGO’S PIZZA TAKOVER NIGHT
My first fundraiser will be a takeover night at Chicago’s Pizza on Arlington and Stop 11! For those of you who know me well, I have worked at this restaurant for almost 3 years and consider it a second home to me which is why I am so excited to invite you all (it’s like inviting you to my home!).
This is the way a takeover night works:
1. You come in to Chicago’s Pizza on the right day at the right time and eat some of the tastiest pizza, salad, and breadsticks in the world (easy).
2. When you go up to pay, you tell the ladies at the counter that you would like to donate a portion of your meal to my fundraiser (easy).
3. At the end of the night, a portion of every receipt that was donated will be given directly to my fundraiser (SO EASY)!
A fun meal out with the family turns into a night of giving and I would like to invite you all to come! Below are the details! Please share this with everyone and anyone so that we can get Chicago’s Pizza packed with people and keep reaching those fundraising goals!
