Exactly 4 months and 29 days ago I announced my commitment to embarking on The World Race and my need to raise $16,617 in order to do so. It was a calling from the Lord to abandon comforts and serve people who are living without the hope of the Gospel. A calling to spread hope, joy, peace, and truth- something we cannot have apart from Christ.

“And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.’”–Mark 16:15

I knew God could do whatever He wanted to do in the world without me, but He was inviting me to be a part of His beautiful plan. Upon accepting that invitation, I anticipated a journey to go and bless others. What I did not anticipate was the way I would be blessed beyond imagine and the way I would see God work so personally. Now, 4 months and 29 days later, I AM FULLY FUNDED.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 4:4-9

THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

I could not thank all of you enough for supporting me through both prayer and financial giving throughout my fundraising!!! Each and every dollar was rejoiced over and is being strategically used to allow me to GO. I may be done fundraising, but the journey is not over!

NOW I GO.

I go to 11 countries in 11 months and relay the message of the promise of the Gospel to all the people I meet. As I go, I ask you to continue to pray. Pray for lives to be transformed and hearts revived. As you continue to pray, I will continue to blog. I will share the stories of the people I meet, the places I go, and all that the Lord is doing. My heart for this blog is to bring glory to God each and every step of the way.
