One of the volcanoes in the middle of Lake Nicaragua. This was our view for most of the bus ride from the Nicaraguan border to Granada.

We spent 6 days in Granada with the whole squad together to debrief our past month in Costa Rica, spend time growing with one another, and spiritually preparing ourselves for month 2 in Nicaragua.

These guys lived at the hostel where we stayed. Absolutely beautiful, but very annoying at 5 am.

This was during our boat tour on Lake Nicaragua. Beautiful day out on the water enjoying the scenery and the company of friends.

This is Palacaguina, a small town in the mountains of Nicaragua where we've spent the month ministering. Most teams paired up with another team and have partnered with a local pastor. My team has spent the month doing manual labor, helping build bible classrooms near the church and also being involved in the Sunday and Wednesday night church services. We often sing several worships songs, perform a skit, and preach.

Palacaguina…a one-horse town 🙂

These two kids are related to the pastor we're helping and they've been such a blessing to us this month. They are always laughing, smiling, and helping us with work.

Erin and Pamela walking back from ministry. It really is so beautiful here.

Water turned off one day. Thank goodness for hose showers!

My family! Team Intentional Vagabonds 🙂

Trying to sing a song in Spanish for the local church.

The view from the church where we're staying this month.

Climbed a mountain one day to spend some time with the Lord. Couldn't leave without taking some pictures.

Happy Valentine's Day on the World Race!

Worship Night.

Masaya Volcano, one of five active volcanoes in Nicaragua.
