So, this one time in Guatemala, Micah Hubbard and I pulled a switcharoo:
One night we had a totally
rockin’ team time. We set up camp in the
guys’ room, ate dinner, did some visualization and watched half of “Finger of
God.”
Then, Micah and I had a
genius idea…hehehehe (evil laugh).
We decided that since
Sanctified 31 (Becca Price’s team) were all out later than normal, Micah and I
would switch beds for the night without telling the girls (I share a room with
Becca and Whitney).
So I took all my stuff down
to Micah and Carter’s room and Micah stayed in my room. He even rocked my leopard print eye mask to
“appear more like Sara.”
Finally, the girls come up
to bed. Becca and Whitney enter our
room, giggling nonstop. Becca decides to
change her clothes, climbs into bed in her normal pjs: a t-shirt and underwear,
then Becca’s toots which creates more giggling.
Suddenly from my bed comes a deep manly voice saying, “I can’t sleep
when you two are giggling.” Becca and
Whit stopped dead from pure shock and then burst out laughing so loud that
their team mate came over to yell at them.
All through this experience,
I was already fast asleep downstairs in the quieter room. Ahhhhh.
It was super funny and I just wanted to share with you some of the fun
and exciting things we come up with on the World Race! LOL
