I have 4 1/2 days left before I “launch” for the World Race. Wow, 4 1/2 days. It’s hard to wrap my head around that. What should I do with my final 4 1/2??
I went to Applebee’s today with my neighbors/friends/family, the Hilemans. They have been such a HUGE support to me in every way possible. While at the restaurant, the waitress asked “What’s the occasion?” So we got talking about the World Race. She asked all the same questions I have been answering for the past 8 months or so and she was very excited for me. Then another waiter approached our table with a giddy look on his face. So I met Isaiah. He asked questions while almost bouncing and said he could hardly contain himself he was so excited for me. I shared my blog site with him and encouraged him to check out the World Race!
When our waitress returned she told me to bring a picture of me and my team in when I return to the states and they would hang it on the wall. God really gets everyone excited about what He’s doing!
What else am I doing this last week before launch?
-visiting one of my bestests and her new baby.
-seeing the movie Magic Mike
-Red Lobster :0) YUM
-Church
-getting a matchbox version of a 1-800-got-junk truck to take pictures with around the world!
-my final goodbye party
-laundry and packing
That’s a lot to pack into 4 1/2 days. Wish me luck!
