I leave in 2 days….wow!  God has blessed me so much in the last 10 months!  He has provided $15,602 to have me fully funded before leaving the States.  He has placed the most amazing people in my life as friends, family, squadmates and teammates.  I feel totally supported here at home and I know I will feel the same as I take this leap of faith and travel the world sharing His love and His word!

Thank you so much to each and every one of you who have made this dream of serving God in a new and challenging way become a reality.  I can’t express what you mean to me and how much I will miss you.  But I know this is exactly what God has planned, so, in 2 days, on July 3rd, I will travel to Washington D.C. to board a plane to Bulgaria to start this journey.  Whew!

So what can you do now?  PLEASE PRAY!  Keep my team:  Team Reckless Faith in your prayers.  Pray for closeness, acceptance, trust, honesty, patience, and love.  We will be in eachother’s spaces and faces for months, day in and day out.  It will be tough but it will create growth!

Also pray for safety.  Now, as my good friend Elliot Stoner mentioned…following Jesus is not the safe path.  But, continue to pray for safety in travel, living and sharing the Gospel.

And pray for all the wonderful people my team and squad comes in contact with.  Pray that we may introduce them to Christ or strengthen a bond that already exists.  Pray that we leave each place a little better than when we arrived and that we can fill those places with love and peace that only our amazing Father can provide!!

Colossians 1:9-12 says:
“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you.  We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit.  All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.  We also pray that you will be strengthened with his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.  May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father.  He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.”

I’m so excited to shine my light and be an example of God’s love for each of us!  Thank you for taking this journey with me!
