I have been sharing with my
team that I do not read my bible. I want
to have the desire and the focus but I am so ADD and always choose to hang out,
shower, play with the kids or just talk rather than taking alone time with
God.
My team leader, Micah, has
really been encouraging me to dig into the Word. He is also challenging me to just keep
chasing God!! I am taking this advice to
heart and beginning to be much more intentional with my down time and trying to
spend some of it reading my bible. I am
also working on listening, being still and knowing He is God. I have such a strong desire to truly hear
God’s voice. I want to live in the Holy
Spirit and have that confidence that He is in charge.
I have been reading Psalm
103 aloud as a sort of prayer, as per Micah’s suggestion. It is really resonating with me. I am thankful for a leader who is a
motivation and support for my weaknesses.
Please pray for Micah as he continues to pour into me and our team with
the utmost patience and understanding due to God’s love in his heart.
