Before Jesus:
stressed
questions
lonely even in relationships
out of place
missing
poor choices
easily swayed
unfocused
After Jesus:
calm
answers
fulfilled by His love
accepted
complete
choices for Him
focused on Eternity
prayer as a way of life
There was a time in my life when I had to make a conscious effort to pray. It usually took a few tries to even begin and it didn’t always occur to me to actually do it. I would always say “I’m praying for you” but I never did. Now prayer is just a part of who I am and my every day life. Now if I tell someone I am praying for them, I stop right then and there and pray for them. Everything that happens good in my life is because of God. Everything the happens bad in my life, God will bring me through it. God is on my mind and part of my decision making process at all times. It’s hard for me to remember what my life was like without Jesus in my heart. And thank goodness for that.
