I’M GOING ON THE WORLD RACE!!!
My name is Sara Santiago, and in January 2017 I will be leaving for what might be the greatest adventure of my life: The World Race.
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip, that journeys into 11 countries.
I will live in tight community with other racers on my squad as we get to live this crazy life with each other.
These are the countries I will be traveling to: India, Nepal,Macedonia, Bulgaria, Swazland, Botswana, Greece, South Africa, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam
Ministry will look differently in every county. Ranging from construction, orphan care, teaching, evangelizing, prayer walking, door to door home visits, feeding the hungry, ministering to girls on the red light district, and on and on it goes.
Through my life God has taken me on a crazy roller coaster full of ups and downs, and I’ve learned so much about myself and who I am in Him. If I could say one thing about it all, it would be this: I am so grateful for all that I’ve been through because without it I wouldn’t be where I am today.
My perspective regarding life has changed. I don’t want to live a comfortable life, instead I want to live a radical one that service my Heavenly Father!
So here I am, about to make the craziest move of my life. In obedience to His calling in my life I’ll be going to 11 countries over the course of 11 months. This is my step of faith, what’s yours?
